International Ballet Theater | The Weaving

Project Description

The story of “The Weaving” is a heartfelt and inspiring journey through the life of Corrie ten Boom, a Dutch Christian who aided over 800 Jews in escaping the Nazis during World War II. She described her life as a weaving, a tapestry of good, light threads and difficult, dark threads. This magnificent dramatization features textured original music and choreography which mirrors the journey of this amazing woman as she and her sister brought light and hope into the darkness of the Ravensbruck Camp in WWII Germany.

Logo & Branding

Logo design for the original launch of the IBT captured the beauty and elegance of this prestigious pre-professional ballet company. The Weaving logo embodied the pain and strife of the holocaust and evoked well-known images of WWII for instant identification to the theme of the production.

Event Promotion

To establish event brand recognition as well as solicit ticket sales, Reed Creative Group designed print and web ads in local media publications, direct mail to potential IBT donors, and signage and playbill design in both Dallas and at the Lincoln Center in New York City.
